Chase what matters in your startup

Chase good product. Chase great engineering. Chase a paying client.

Don’t chase a business plan (yet).
Don’t chase venture capital (yet).
Don’t chase board members (yet).

Instead, focus on what matters. Validate your great idea.

They are worth more than a business plan and a slick pitch deck.
They are worth more than chasing rock-star board members.
They are worth more than any amount of funding you can raise.

At the end of the day, what matters is that you’ve built something useful and that someone is willing to pay money for it.

That’s how you go from idea to product to company.

You focus on what matters.
